Description

Reverse Solenoid - In-Line Blocking Solenoid

This solenoid is typically used in flat terrain as the flow of the brake fluid is stopped or "blocked" with this style of solenoid.  The Reversing Blocking Solenoid is a straight in line solenoid that stops the brake fluid from moving back towards the calipers or drum plates when a trailer is in reverse.  Each solenoid includes a wire that is tied into an existing 5 prong or plug harness which works off the reverse lights of the tow vehicle.

Thread Size:  3/16" x 1/8"

Application: Direct thread into the master cylinder

Tie Down / Dexter Marine Number:  11250

For use with drum or disc brakes.  If backing up sharp inclines or terrain with hills or mountains, it is suggested to upgrade to the Kip or Bleed style solenoid.
